These two classifications pertain to persons coming temporarily to work in seasonal or intermittent non-agricultural activities, to meet a peak load need, or for a one-time occurrence. Requirements Before filing the U.S. employer must first obtain the approval of a labor certification from the Department of Labor to demonstrate that U.S. workers are not available and that wages and working conditions meet regional standards, and evidence, that each named visa applicant is qualified.
