For some of you, this page may be the place to start gaining some knowledge or insight into what is possible in terms of living, working or visiting the United States.

There are many reasons why people want to immigrate to the U.S. This is not the forum for a discussion of the “why” rather this page contains information about “how” these goals may be accomplished. Despite anti-immigration trends, this country continues to attract people of diverse cultures seeking to fulfill their dreams. We believe that immigrants not only seek to fulfill their dreams but also desire to contribute to this society. We believe that America is the world leader because of the pioneering spirit and efforts of people from every horizon, color and creed.

We firmly believe that immigration today helps maintain the vision of a freedom on which this country was founded. However, coming to America and becoming a legal resident and/or citizen can be a complicated process governed by the Immigration and Nationality Act. Our goal is to provide people with experienced, professional, and competent service that will help them to accomplish their immigration goals.

At all times please keep in mind that the classifications on this website do not follow the path and classifications as designed by the courts. AK Consultants simplifies the process for you. Visas are usually classified as either immigrant or non-immigrant. There are many twists and sub-classifications within these two major classifications. We want to keep it simple so the average person with little knowledge of immigration rules and regulations will be able to understand. The average person is concerned with (1) how to enter the U.S. (2) how to work in the U.S. and (3) how to remain in the U.S.
